Homage
In
fond memory of Diwakar Senior Accountant office of the Director of Postal
Accounts Bangalore who died on 26.9.2011
Oh! Diwakar my dear friend!!
You departed to the heavenly abode
leaving us all here.
You came along with us for inspection
to Karwar and Kumta  ,
The beautiful towns in the Arabian coast
of Karnataka  .
Karwar beach saw you teaching me some
exercises for good health
I saw your sportsmanship with awe in reverence.
Every time  I do the exercises my memories rush to
you  and
 Every
nerve of my body and heart  thank you for
it.
You showed me the way for health, alas!
 You missed the path.
You took me alongwith your wife and son
as a family member
In the tour to Gokarna , Mudeshwar, Om
Beach, Yana, Sirsi and Banvasi
Whenever I reminisce of these places my
memories go back to you
The thought of Gangtok brings memories
as you arranged LTC for us all
Who never had an iota of idea in  visiting North East even in our dreams
Your imposing posture with a broad
smile in the photos taken there
Makes me remember all these places ingrained
in my heart.
Reposing faith on me , you shared your
trials and tribulations
Joys and sorrows ,bitter and sweet
experiences with me.
Your childhood stories of thrilling
adventures enchanted me
I used to retell to my boys and enjoyed
them.
Now I am adopting sideways sleeping
posture
With shoulder and elbow resting  in the pillow
For you advised me this posture
 Will
bring good sleep sans nightmares.
Alas!  You went for eternal sleep.
You are loving husband to your wife
Doting father to your son Sagar
Good friend to all in the office.
Where can we see your ever-smiling face?
How can we hear your affectionate words?
With a peculiar Tamil accent .
To stimulate my tasting buds with the
dishes
Prepared with your culinary skills
I missed all the chances you gave to me
But I am ready for it, Where are you now?
Your body reached the Lotus Feet of the
Lord in heaven.
But your memories will ever remain in
our hearts
No force in the Earth including your
death
Can not take your memories away from us.
